Rosemarie (Santos) MacPherson had a celebrated career, painting in oils and acrylic, as well as pen and ink. She developed her own techniques. Her work was shown worldwide, including a one woman show at Rockefeller Center in New York. Rosemarie was always willing to bring her artistry to help her community. In 2007 she was commissioned to do a painting commemorating the Sterling Fair, which hangs in the Selectman's office. She designed the town cover for the Sterling Annual Town Report for over 30 years as well as the memorabilia for the Sterling Fair.
