Pair Vintage Omc Japan Ceramic Sake Bottles, Red & Orange

Pair of vintage ceramic sake bottles/bud vases by OMC (Otagiri Mercantile Company) of Japan, each in a high-gloss glaze — one in true red, the other in a vivid red-orange — with contrasting white glazed interiors visible at the tapered neck. Classic tokkuri (sake bottle) silhouette with a rounded, pear-shaped body and narrow neck, small enough to work individually as bud vases or together as a graphic color-blocked pair. OMC was a mid-century Japanese export house that worked with noted designers and shipped widely to the US market from the 1950s-70s; pieces are typically marked with an OMC foil label or stamp to the base.
