Set of 3 Vintage Solid Brass 'Drumbo' Elephant Paperweights, Dresdner Bank, Attributed to Luigi Colani

Set of three vintage solid brass elephant paperweights, known as "Drumbo," produced as an exclusive gift by Dresdner Bank (Germany) in the 1970s — distinct from, and much rarer than, the widely distributed plastic coin-bank version of the same design. Minimalist, organic silhouette with clean curved lines capturing the essence of an elephant in a few simple strokes. Recently polished to bring out the warm brass shine, with a soft patina remaining in the recesses for character. Small and satisfyingly heavy for their scale — each measures approximately 3"L x 1"W x 2"H. Widely attributed to celebrated German industrial designer Luigi Colani, though this attribution has been questioned, with some sources crediting designer Bernd Diefenbach instead; noted here for transparency.
