A charming hand-carved wooden folk art box featuring a carved star medallion set within a geometric bordered lid, and bold carved diamond/triangle patterning along the sides — likely created in the Mexican folk art tradition. Fully hand-carved (not inlaid), with a warm two-tone patina from light and dark stained wood. A faint maker's mark or inscription is visible on the underside but too worn to fully decipher.
