Vintage Vista NTR-6g Globe Transistor Six Radio, Japan, Mid-Century

Vintage novelty transistor radio by Vista, model NTR-6G, made in Japan. Designed as a tabletop globe in gold and silver tones, with continents rendered in relief metallic finish and a rotating silver equatorial band housing the tuning dial. Mounted on a black base with the classic mid-century "atomic age" globe-radio silhouette. Six-transistor AM radio, currently working. Please note: sold in fair vintage condition, with a few small cracks to the globe body (not visible from all display angles) and no antenna included. A fun, functional piece of mid-century design — great for shelf display as-is, or as a parts/restoration project. 8.5"h x 6"d.
